Vitamin D Deficiency and Supplementation: A Focus on the Relationship with Diabetes Mellitus

This session will discuss the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and diabetes mellitus, the mechanisms by which vitamin D may impact the development and management of diabetes and evaluate the relevant literature addressing the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and diabetes. This session will also cover appropriate therapy for vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency.
