Play2Train™ is a 3D virtual place where geographically separated learners, subject matter experts, and content builders meet as avatars to collaboratively create immersive learning experiences for the health care, emergency preparedness, and educational services industry. Our mission is to lower barriers for access to 3D virtual learning environments. We selected the underlying Second Life Grid ™ platform because of its fast path to virtual content creation and its inherent framework that enables effective knowledge networking and content sharing.
